H Series High-Head Slurry Pump

Schurco Slurry® H Series pumps are fit for a variety of applications ranging from filter press feeds to pipeline transport staging pumps.

The high heads along with sturdier wear parts makes these pumps some of the most rugged in the Schurco Slurry® line. Extensive exterior ribbing allows for higher heads to be reached with a single pump, and bulked up wet end parts handle the toughest applications in the field today.

H Series Profile

Discharge diameters 1” to 4” (25 mm to 100 mm)

Heads through 325 ft (100 m)

Flow rates through 3,000 gpm (700 m3/h)

Casing pressure tolerance 750 psig (5,170 kPa)

Impeller – front and back shroud expulsion vanes reduce gland pressure and intrusion of high concentrations of solids in the gland area. Efficiency is maintained by minimizing suction side recirculation. Specially designed and shaped impeller vanes allow the handling of extraordinarily large particles. The unique casing design and sealing vanes prevent abrasive solids intrusion at the sealing faces.

Casing – The large, robust casing has been designed to reduce internal velocities, resulting in minimum efficiency loss and improved casing wear life. The casing is made up of three components to reduce maintenance time and costs associated with a one-piece design.

Z Series Gravel/Dredge Pump

Schurco Slurry® Z Series pumps are designed to handle very large particles for gravel and dredging operations.

The Schurco® range of dredge and gravel pumps is designed specifically for continuous pumping of extremely aggressive slurries, with a wide particle size distribution. Its capability of handling large particles at consistently high efficiencies results in low cost of ownership. The large volume internal profile of the casing reduces associated velocities, further increasing component life.

Z Series Profile

Discharge diameters 1” to 4” (25 mm to 100 mm)

Heads through 230 ft (70 m)

Flow rates through 12,000 gpm (2,700 m3/h)

Z Series Features

Wet-End Design

The unique segmented clamp ring on larger size units and solid on smaller pumps facilitates casing rotation to any angle, reducing the need for costly high wearing bends. Minimal maintenance is required.

V Series Features

Fully Cantilevered – Eliminates submerged bearings, packing, lip seals, and mechanical seals that other vertical slurry pumps typically require.

Impellers – Unique double suction impellers; fluid flow enters the top as well as the bottom. This design eliminates shaft seals and reduces thrust load on the bearings.

Large Particle – Large particle impellers are also available and enable passing unusually large solids.

Bearing Assembly – The maintenance friendly bearing assembly has heavy-duty roller bearings, robust housings, and a massive shaft.

Casing – The metal pumps have a heavy-walled abrasive-resistant 27% chrome alloy casing. Rubber pumps have a molded rubber casing adhered to sturdy metal structures.

Column and Discharge Pipe – The metal pump columns and discharge pipes are steel, and the rubber columns and discharge pipes are rubber covered.

Upper Strainers – Snap-in elastomer strainers fit in column openings to prevent overly large particles and unwanted refuse from entering casing of the pump.

Lower Strainers – Bolt-on cast strainers on the metal pump and molded snap-on elastomer strainers on the rubber pumps protect the pump from oversize particles.

Interchangeable with Warman® SP and SPR series pumps.

V Series Vertical Slurry Pump

Schurco Slurry V Series vertical slurry pumps are ideal for a variety of submerged suction pumping applications.

These pumps operate well in a variety of sump conditions, and can also be readily applied on floating dewatering or other floating pump platforms. As a true cantilevered vertical slurry pump, the V Series does not have submerged bearings or seals, thus eliminating the primary failure mechanism for similarly fielded pump lines.

Vertical pumps from Schurco not only provide excellent wear life properties, they also operate efficiently to further reduce operating costs. These vertical slurry pumps can be fully elastomer lined or hard metal fitted. There are no submerged bearings or packing with a unique high capacity double suction design. Optional recessed impeller and suction agitator are available. The innovative product design and widely configurable range help our customers reduce costs.

V Series Profile

Bearing Assembly

Cartridge-style bearing housing allows for removal from pump and assembly in controlled environment

Oversized shaft diameters and reduced overhang in the wet end contribute to long life and reliability in the field

Oil bath lubrication for higher operating speeds against the standard grease lubrication in other assemblies

Frame and Shaft

Designed for front pull-out or back pull-out dismantling of the frame and shaft assembly from the casing, which remains in place, connected to the intake and discharge pipework. This enables a rapid replacement of frame and shaft assembly with a standby unit, while leaving the pipework undisturbed.

P Series Chrome-Iron Dewatering Pump

Schurco P Series are designed to provide exceptional performance in high head mine dewatering as well as general dewatering applications.

Single pumps can achieve heads over 50% higher than standard slurry pumps. These dewatering pumps are ideal for dirty water and light slurry (slurry-specific gravities of roughly 1.05), and provide the end user with the ultimate in reliability.

P Series Profile

Discharge diameters 4” to 6” (100mm to 150mm)

Heads through 420ft (128m)

Flow rates through 2,250 gpm (510 m3/h)

P Series Features

Wet End

Impeller – Double volute design to reduce radial loads, and thrust reduction impeller design to reduce axial thrust loads, thus enhancing bearing life.

Casing – Wet-end components are manufactured in wear-resistant alloys to suit the application, providing these pumps with unique wear advantages over many similar pumps on the market.
